About the Event

Ekta Amarnani completed her Masters degree at the Institute for Global Food Security at McGill University, where her research centred on income-related inequalities and its impact on food insecurity in youth. Since then, Ekta has been involved in the Toronto food security advocacy space for 5 years in various capacities including pioneering the first ever Scarborough Food security strategy.
