Doug

Doug Cook is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 23 years of experience in a wide range of settings serving diverse needs. He has a mixed bag with respect to his practice ranging from clinical nutrition to writing for the public, patients, and other health professionals, program development, consulting, and private practice, and has had a variety of experience in media including TV, radio, and print and is co-author of several books. Doug currently works at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, where he developed an appreciation for the role that food and nutrition, and the role of the gut have on brain health and mental well-being.

Jenny Friedman MS, RD specializes in picky eating and pediatric feeding challenges. Known for her playful and approachable style, Jenny is the author of Stories of Extreme Picky Eating: Children with Severe Eating Challenges and the Solutions that Helped Them. She shares her insight on her website and blog, JennyFriedmanNutrition.com, and on social media @feedingpickyeaters. Jenny received a Master of Science degree in nutrition from Columbia University Teachers College.

Mireille Cloutier, a pediatric nutritionist who works in an outpatient Rehabilitation Center for children with physical and intellectual disabilities in the province of Quebec.  She obtained her bachelor's degree in nutrition at Laval University in 2009 and has worked with the pediatric population for over 13 years. Over time, she has developed expertise in the fields of pediatric feeding disorders and malnutrition. Mireille has been using the MUAC measurement as part of her nutritional evaluation and has educated her peers in doing so as well. 

Ben
Ben

Ben Sit is a Registered Dietitian who received his education from Ryerson University’s School of Nutrition and graduated his Dietetic Internship from the Sunnybrook Dietetics Internship Program in 2010. He received a Sports Dietitian Certificate from the Sports Dietitians of Australia and is currently pursuing Ryerson’s Physical Activity Assessment & Promotion certificate program and the International Olympic Committee’s Sports Nutrition Diploma. In addition to being a Sports Dietitian, Ben is also a Personal Trainer.  This combination of the world of Nutrition and Dietetics along with Physical Activity & Exercise is what makes Ben's interventions truly unique and customized.

Christina Tran has been a registered dietitian since 2013. After completing her undergraduate degree from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and her masters at the University of Toronto, Christina spent some time working in public health at Nutrition Connections (formerly the Nutrition Resource Centre). In 2015 Christina joined Sherbourne Health as a community dietitian where she has spent the last several years focusing on newcomer health through individual counselling, facilitating community groups, and more.

Jean

Jean LaMantia is a Registered Dietitian, cancer survivor and author of three books on the topics of: Lymphedema, Cancer and Intermittent Fasting. She is the creator and facilitator of Lymphedema Nutrition School, an on-line program to help people living with lymphedema, as well as a professional CE course for dietitians called Advanced Nutrition Strategies for Clinical Management of Lymphedema hosted by PESI Inc. Jean lives in Toronto, Canada where she has a virtual private practice. You can find out more about Jean and read her blog at www.jeanlamantia.com.

Kimmie Singh is a self-proclaimed fat Registered Dietitian based in New York City and owner of Body Honor Nutrition, a nutrition private practice that supports individuals to heal their relationships with food and body. Kimmie supports her clients with a fat-positive and anti-oppressive framework and has a special passion for working with people that have P. Kimmie is also a sought-after speaker and has presented at several national conferences. She presents on the effects of anti-fat stigma in healthcare and nutrition. Krista Kolodziejzyk is a Registered Dietitian and the founder of Dietitian Success Center (DSC). She has a Masters degree in Public Health Nutrition from the University of Toronto and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Guelph. She is a huge proponent of making forward progress in the field of dietetics and loves to challenge the status quo. Her mission with DSC is to bring credible, evidence-based nutrition info and resources to more practitioners in user-friendly, accessible formats, while saving them time. Krista resides in Calgary, Alberta with her husband, dog and baby-on-the-way and is passionate about exploring the mountains, trail running and baking!
